...Chapter 7... yup. For my backgrounds I "paint" most everything now, but I still leave the black lines, the "inks", for the characters. I'm trying to find the happy medium, but I'm probably going to start toning down the inks. I always find myself flip-flopping between Manga and Comic art styles, not choosing one or the other. I lack the discipline to actually stop drawing something, even if I'm not sure about its look. I'll just push on since stopping and starting the page over is too time consuming and admitting fault.

Comic art style is best, IMHO. Manga is cheap, overdone, and looks like no effort is needed, not to mention Manga tends to appeal to the worst parts of the internet, like 4Chan. I don't think you want to see this comic's pages end up there. Comic art appeals to people who appreciate good literature and have a life, while adult Manga fans are very often these sad sort of people who never grew up and are still living in their parent's basement at age 30 of their own free choice...

This is a pretty well-done page, either way. I somehow figured Loth would be asleep.

Huh? Dude don't be such a tool. You'll anger 4chan and you don't want that. They DID cripple visa and mastercard.

Any site with users like that is better to be on there side.

Being a tool means obeying a force "higher" than oneself. I don't care what anyone thinks 4Chan said or did, either. Stop being so frightened of the creepy anime site. Not to mention my Mastercard works just fine.

Yeah, well go onto 4chan and say that. Creepy or not, like Penny Arcade that site has actual pull in the real world. And if you don't think Penny Arcade has pull just remember what happened when that idiot lawyer kept invoking the fans. They got him suspended from practicing in Florida. So you're probably safe to crack jokes about 4chan here on this site, doubtful many of that crowd comes here, but no reason to poke the trolls of the internet either.

It isn't so odd to have a character who can beat the enemies every once in a while and NOT faint/get beaten down. It would be odd if they NEVER got beaten.
